There is a free demo of EasyDraw that you can download, but I don't know if it includes AppleWorks translators.

Tutorial on converting AW drawing files: The 32-bit version, EasyDraw Retro, is still available for $95 directly from the developer's web site. The App Store version of EasyDraw is 64-bit, costs $30, and does NOT import legacy formats such as AppleWorks. Here is a detailed guide for moving past Appleworks: As far as I know, only certain versions of EasyDraw can be used to translate them into something more modern. Already AW's drawing format is the hardest of the AW formats to find translators for. You need to translate your documents before translators for them become extinct. The problem is that AW has been discontinued for years now, and translators for AW file formats are becoming scarce. One the plus side, you can run Chrome on Macs, Windows PCs, Linux, Chromebooks, iDevices, and Android gear. 81, and this version is compatible with all versions of OS X since 10.6 Snow Leopard.

I highly recommend that you stop using AW (AppleWorks) for creating drawings, that you move to a more modern replacement, and that you convert all of your existing AW drawing documents into a more modern format *immediately*. Google’s Chrome browser is current at version.
